A refined gastronomic experience above Lake Balaton
Seasonal dishes, carefully selected wines, views of Lake Balaton and personal attention — everything that makes your time here complete.
Led by the seasons
Our menu changes with the seasons, with each dish inspired by the produce available at the time. We also take food intolerances and special diets into account: gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan requirements can be discussed with us in advance. A separate children’s menu is available for our younger guests.

THE RESTAURANT
We want our guests to remember not only the flavours, but also the moments they share here.
That is why we choose our ingredients with the same care we bring to welcoming our guests. Our dishes use quality ingredients primarily from local producers, complemented by fruit, vegetables and herbs grown on the estate.
Alongside carefully selected wines, the panorama of Lake Balaton from the terrace, the view towards Tihany, the surrounding hills and some 2,000 almond trees are all part of what we call the Casa Christa experience. Together, they create the memories we hope our guests will take home.
OUR CHEF
Toth Keve
Casa Christa’s chef, shaping the character of our kitchen.
In 2025, Keve Tóth’s work was recognised with the Young Chef Talent of the Year award at the Dining Guide Restaurant of the Year Gala.
GASTRONOMY
The philosophy that ends up on the plate
01
Working with the season’s finest ingredients
We do not look for ingredients to fit a menu; we shape the menu around the ingredients. That is why it changes several times a year, and why we also offer daily specials: we want to serve what is available at its very best.
02
In partnership with local producers
Our ingredients come primarily from local producers, complemented by fruit, vegetables and herbs grown on the estate. They are the starting point for our dishes, bringing the character of this place to the plate.
03
Creativity, natural flavours and genuine enjoyment
We seek the same balance in every dish: creativity, natural flavours and genuine pleasure. We do not want to surprise at any cost. We want to let each ingredient’s flavour shine in its purest form.
